Born in the Himalayas.

My name is Dinesh Singh Matiyali. I was born and raised in Matela village in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, a land where the air is clean, the forests are ancient, and some of the world's finest herbs and spices grow completely wild and untouched. My family has lived in these mountains for generations, and this place is not just where I am from. It is who I am.

For years, I watched these extraordinary Himalayan products like Jakhiya, Tejpatta and Wild Honey being exported by others, often from places far removed from where these ingredients actually grow. I kept asking myself why the finest spices of Kumaon should not reach the world directly from someone who was born here, who grew up in these forests, and who understands these products not from textbooks but from a lifetime of living alongside them.

With a BSc and MBA in Biotechnology, I bring both scientific understanding and personal connection to every product we source. Wild Himalaya is my way of sharing what this land has always offered, with the honesty and quality it deserves.
